The gender equality theme of theme has been increasingly in evidence as one of the ways to think about a fairer, more egalitarian and developed society. It is also one of the United Nations 2030 Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals, which seeks to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls, recognizing and valuing unpaid domestic work, as well as promoting shared responsibility within the home and family (SDG 5). While it is a global issue, the challenges to achieving this goal differ according to the local and cultural context of societies. The objective of this research is to understand how women workers of Lajeado/RS organize their life routine between work, family and well-being. To this end, semi-structured listening spaces will be provided for the participating women in their workplaces. The theoretical basis guiding the reflections is based on Antony Giddens' (2002) visions of emancipatory micropolitics and Alberto Acosta's (2016) living well; going through integrative research within the CAPES portal, from the last 3 years, in Portuguese, on the keywords of this research. Thus, the research will be qualitative, having as a procedure the exploratory and narrative method, and as instruments were used bibliographic review and documentary research, in addition to fieldwork by sampling, where the quality of the reports was prioritized, and the quantitative data (age, place of birth, marital status, education) will be treated as complementary. What is expected from the research, which goes through the preliminary observation that there is a growing number of households headed by women, is to contribute to the construction of a collective identity tending to eliminate gender differences and those among social groups, as well as stimulating the construction of societies based on the harmony of personal and interpersonal relationships, with oneself, with others and with the environment. And this starts from the validation of the daily life reports and the ways of carrying out the work and well-being of these working women, which also serves as a basis for the improvement of initiatives aimed at quality of life, maintained by the company funder of the research. As a result, it is observed that, effectively, the search for living well has been gradually gaining space in counterpoint to the unbridled search for purely material results, opening up to ways to make life lighter and more balanced. The relevance of the research, in the line of Socio-environmental Spaces and Problems, lies in the valorization of women's often invisible work, both inside and outside the home, being a vector of social development. The scientific research seeks to understand this dynamic and its particularities, contributing with reflections and proposals aimed at the empowerment and quality of life of working women.
