O Brasil se destaca como um dos maiores produtores e exportadores globais de carne suína. Os avanços tecnológicos e aumento do consumo contribuíram para o desenvolvimento da suinocultura e, consequentemente, para a economia nacional, garantindo a segurança alimentar para o consumidor, tanto no abate como no desenvolvimento de produtos derivados. Diante disso, identificou-se uma oportunidade de negócio no mercado de carne suína, fazendo-se necessário analisar se esse tipo de investimento é viável para o investidor. O presente trabalho buscou contextualizar os principais conceitos de administração financeira com o objetivo de identificar e avaliar a viabilidade da abertura de uma empresa de cortes à base de carne suína no interior do município de Roca Sales/RS, junto à atual empresa Montes Claros Agroindustrial. Para o desenvolvimento teórico foram abordados diversos aspectos referentes ao desenvolvimento de projetos, financiamentos e ferramentas de análise de viabilidade econômico-financeiras. Por meio da pesquisa de objetivo exploratório e descritivo, de natureza aplicada, abordagem qualitativa, de procedimento bibliográfico e documental e com a coleta de dados junto à trabalhos anteriores, fornecedores e profissionais da área, essa monografia elencou as informações necessárias quanto ao investimento total, as fontes de financiamento, previsão de custos, despesas e receitas. Com os dados, realizou-se uma projeção realista da Demonstração do Resultado do Exercício e da Demonstração do Fluxo de Caixa para os 6 primeiros anos de atividade. Calculou-se a viabilidade do investimento através de indicadores-chave como o Valor Presente Líquido, a Taxa Mínima de Atratividade, a Taxa Interna de Retorno e o Payback e realizou-se a análise de cenários, levando à conclusão de que é viável o investimento previsto e que o valor investido será recuperado dentro do prazo estabelecido de seis anos.
Brazil stands out as one of the largest global producers and exporters of pig meat. Technological advances and increased consumption contributed to the development of pig farming and, consequently, to the national economy, guaranteeing food safety for the consumer, both during slaughter and in the development of derived products. Therefore, a business opportunity was identified in the pork market, making it necessary to analyze whether this type of investment is viable for the investor. This work sought to contextualize the main concepts of financial administration with the objective of identifying and evaluating the feasibility of opening a pork-based cuts company in the interior of the municipality of Roca Sales/RS, together with the current company Montes Claros Agroindustrial. For theoretical development, several aspects relating to project development, financing and economic-financial viability analysis tools were addressed. Through research with an exploratory and descriptive objective, of an applied nature, a qualitative approach, a bibliographic and documentary procedure and the collection of data from previous works, suppliers and professionals in the area, this monograph listed the necessary information regarding the total investment, sources of financing, forecast of costs, expenses and revenues. With the data, a realistic projection of the Income Statement for the year and the Cash Flow Statement was made for the first 6 years of activity. The viability of the investment was calculated using key indicators such as Net Present Value, Minimum Attractive Rate, Internal Rate of Return and Payback and scenario analysis was carried out, leading to the conclusion that the investment is viable expected and that the amount invested will be recovered within the established period of six years.
