Resumo
A presente pesquisa - vinculada ao projeto denominado "Estratégias Metodológicas Visando à Inovação e Reorganização Curricular no Campo da Educação Matemática do Ensino Fundamental", desenvolvido no Universidade do Vale do Taquari UNIVATES com apoio da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) – tem por objetivo central investigar as implicações pedagógicas advindas das discussões efetivadas num grupo de estudos com professores dos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental, tendo como aporte teórico o campo da etnomatemática. O referencial teórico escolhido para sustentar a investigação está em consonância com o campo da etnomatemática, cujas teorizações problematizam aspectos sociais, políticos e culturais no âmbito do ensino de matemática. O material de pesquisa foi gerado por meio das discussões, gravadas e posteriormente transcritas, com professores de turmas de 4º e 5º anos de duas escolas públicas da Região do Vale do Taquari, bem como suas produções textuais escritas durante a realização de encontros dos dois grupos de estudos formados. O diário de campo do pesquisador, as atividades desenvolvidas por duas turmas de alunos – uma de cada escola – e as explanações de dois profissionais ligados à construção civil também compuseram o corpus de pesquisa. A análise do referido material permitiu constituir as seguintes unidades de análise: a) Apego ao Formalismo Matemático por parte dos professores integrantes do grupo de estudo; b) Reconhecimento, desses docentes, da existência de jogos de linguagem matemáticos não escolares e c) Reconhecimento, por parte dos docentes e discentes, da forma de vida na emergência dos jogos de linguagem.
This research - linked to the project called “Methodological Strategies Aiming for Innovation and Reorganization Course in Mathematics Education field of elementary school”, developed at the University Center Univates with support from the Higher Education Personnel Training Coordination (CAPES ) - is central to investigate the pedagogical implications arising from the effect of the discussions in a study group with teachers' of the first years of Elementary School, having as theoretical support the field of ethnomathematical . The theoretical framework chosen to support the research is in line with the field of ethnomathematical , whose theories problematize social, political and cultural aspects in the teaching of mathematics . The research material was generated through discussions , recorded and transcribed , with teachers from groups of 4th and 5th grades of two public schools of the Taquari Valley Region , as well as its written textual productions during the meetings of the two formed study groups. The daily diary of the researcher, the activities carried out by the two groups of students - one from each school - and explanations of two professionals of the construction industry also composed the research corpus . The analysis of this material allowed up the following units of analysis : a) Attachment to Mathematical Formalism by members of the study group ; b ) the recognition, from these teachers to the existence of non-school mathematical language games and c ) the recognition, from the teachers and students to the way of life in the emergency of language games.
