Nomadic movements of a childhood. Displacement, atmosphere, force, becoming. How? Displacement like desert dunes, with devastating winds. A sight that is always different. Do they travel? They cross distances, without moving away. Kilometers without displacement. They travel even when they are still. A smooth space that runs off the striated, straightly traced lines that go through the dissertation: what do children say in their nomadic movements? How do they produce flows amidst a child-becoming? Scenario: school break at a public school. Stage: the force of child flows. Attention to the passage from a state to another, to what pulses, screams, echoes, inspires; waves of intensity, fugitive sensations. A scenario full of nomadic fragments that enable us to move forces. A stage full of life, movements, laughter, flows, clairvoyance, expressions of thoughts. Abandonment? Of a chronology. Refusal of the game of an exhausted, disciplined body, a major character suggesting other possible meanings. We find it strange. It is des-automated. New landscapes. To this end, we resorted to some conceptual tools produced and guided by clues that emerged along the investigation process and approximation to authors such as Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari, Michel Foucault and some of their followers. Thinking about childhood from this perspective is to think in a suspension of truths, it is to be attentive to the new contemporary configurations, to suspend discursive plots that constitute ways of being and thinking, ways through which we have produced truths and used powers in the constitution of child-identities. The trajectory of this research was traced by means of the cartographic method; the researcher attempted to be aware of both what a group of children say and think, and the way the group nomadically moves their thoughts – not aiming to find a new form of childhood, but rather other forms, other formless relations of childhood. The written lines are intended to function as poetical intonations; every moment, everything is renewed, and the landscape is constantly redesigned. Along this investigation, flows, flashes, and listening triggered movements, inviting us to see child life as a recreation of the self, with all the inventive forces in a constant becoming.
