A correta homogeneidade e distribuição da alimentação permite que o rebanho leiteiro receba uma dieta balanceada, favorecendo o consumo regular de nutrientes, o desempenho animal e a composição adequada do leite. O presente trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar o tempo de mistura para se obter uma correta homogeneidade da dieta total para bovinos de leite. A pesquisa foi realizada na propriedade leiteira da Granja Fell, situada no município de Bom Retiro do Sul, no Vale do Taquari/RS. Foram coletadas amostras em 5 pontos em diferentes tempos de mistura (2, 3, 4 e 5 minutos), totalizando 20 amostras. Foi utilizado um vagão misturador modelo Husky DS 70 da marca Storti. As amostras foram submetidas às análises bromatológicas de teores de proteína bruta, extrato etéreo, matéria mineral, matéria seca, fibra bruta, cálcio e fósforo. Obtendo-se, um banco de dados com 420 resultados. Por fim, determinou-se, com auxílio de análises estatísticas, dois tempos de mistura que obtiveram maior proximidade com o padrão formulado, sendo de 3 e 4 minutos para a análise de PCA e na comparação das médias analíticas. Assim, recomenda-se a propriedade utilizar o tempo de 3 a 4 minutos, pois irá acarretar uma distribuição correta da alimentação, promovendo uma ingestão de nutrientes mais equilibrada e diminuindo o custo de produção.
The correct homogeneity and food distribution allows the herd to receive a balanced diet, favoring the regular consumptions of nutrients, animal performance and the proper milk composition. The aim of the present work was to evaluate the mixing time to obtain a correct homogeneity of the total diet for dairy cattle. The research was carried out in the Granja Fall dairy farm, situated in the county of Bom Retiro do Sul, in Taquary Valley/RS. Samples were collected at 5 points at different mixing times (2, 3, 4 and 5 minutes), totalizing 20 samples. It was used a Husky DS 70 mixer wagon of the Storti brand. The samples were submitted to the bromatological analysis of crude protein contents, ethereal extract, mineral matter, dry matter, crude fiber, calcium and phosphorus. Obtaining, a database with 420 results. Finally, two mixing times were determined using statistical analysis, two mixing times which were closer to the formulated standard, being of 3 and 4 minutes to the PCA analysis and comparison of analytical average. Thus, it is recommended to use the time property of 3 to 4 minutes, because it will lead to a correct distribution of food, promoting a more balanced nutrient intake and decreasing the cost of production.
