RESEARCH AREAS:

Name: Science, Society, and Education
Description: The studies of this area aim at the reflection and the development of investigations on the relations between Science, Technology, and Society, as well as the nature, the appropriation, the construction, the social evaluation, and the impacts of the sciences in the teaching of areas of specific knowledge. It studies the genesis of knowledge and its dissemination in formal and non-formal spaces of education. Knowledge will focus on the historical, epistemological, and philosophical foundations, relating them to the approaches of the various research methodologies.
