Institution students and graduates go on an exchange to Dublin
A group of nine students and graduates from the University of Vale do Taquari - Univates studied English for two weeks in the city of Dublin, capital of Ireland. The exchange students had homestays for a language immersion program.
The trip was made possible by a partnership between the International Relations Office (DRI) and Univates Idiomas. The group embarked for Dublin on July 12 and returned to Brazil later that month. Exchange students had daily morning classes at Dublin's International House and in the afternoon went sightseeing to places such as Trinity College, the Temple Bar region, Bray's coastal town, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Guinness Storehouse, Dublin Castle, Phoenix Park and Howt Village.
Every semester, DRI and Univates Idiomas promote short-term exchanges. People linked to the Institution can participate in international immersion to improve language skills and to learn about new cultures.
For February 2020, a short-term exchange is scheduled for the city of Toronto, Canada. Get more information by the e-mail addresses internacional@univates.br or idiomas@univates.br.
