Professor represents Pharmacy Program at event in France

PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with several articles published in the area of cosmetics, Professor Renata Contri was invited to give an oral communication at Recent advances in basic and applied science in cosmetics, an event promoted by Le Studium Loire Valley Institute for Advanced Studies, which took place between the 3rd and 5th of July in Tours, France.

According to Renata, the invitation to participate in the event was sent out by the professor who organized the event, who, after reading the articles published, contacted her. In her oral communication, Renata spoke about her PhD research in Pharmaceutical Sciences, presenting several articles published on the subject. She also presented Univates and some research developed at the Institution, as well as the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where she performed her doctoral work.

"The event was very important to accompany the researches in cosmetics that are being carried out abroad, to update my knowledge on the subject, and to be able to make the classes in the undergraduate program in Pharmacy and in the post-graduation in Aesthetic Pharmacy more interesting by addressing current issues. It was also important to meet researchers of the area from around the world and talk about possible collaborations", analyzes Renata.
