Resumo
Esta dissertação aborda o uso de atividades de robótica como recurso tecnológico para a exploração de conceitos relacionados à transferência de calor no ensino médio. O problema que embasou a pesquisa foi: Quais as implicações do uso de atividades de robótica na exploração de conceitos relacionados à transferência de calor em uma turma da 2ª série do Ensino Médio de uma escola privada? O estudo foi realizado em uma escola privada do município de Vilhena, Rondônia, tendo, como participantes, vinte e três estudantes da 2ª série do Ensino Médio. Os objetivos específicos propostos na pesquisa visaram a explorar conceitos de Física relacionados à transferência de calor na prática fazendo o uso de atividades de robótica; desenvolver uma prática pedagógica, fazendo o uso de atividades de robótica, com alunos da 2ª série do Ensino Médio que envolva conceitos relacionados à transferência de calor e analisar como as atividades desenvolvidas durante a prática pedagógica podem contribuir na compreensão de conceitos relacionados à transferência de calor. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa. Para levantamento dos dados foram utilizados um questionário estruturado, questionamentos durante a intervenção pedagógica, observações feitas em um diário de campo, e por fim, fotos e filmagens. Os dados analisados apontaram que: a) os estudantes evidenciaram, no questionário estruturado, antes da intervenção pedagógica, a dificuldade de diferenciar calor e temperatura, pois muitos estudantes relataram que ambos os conceitos eram sinônimos; b) o material utilizado durante a prática pedagógica desenvolvida com os alunos contribuiu para que houvesse exploração e enriquecimento dos conceitos relacionados à transferência de calor como na percepção da diferença entre as três maneiras em que o calor pode ser transferido, além de sua relação com o cotidiano; c) os estudantes, diante da proposta apresentada, estavam ansiosos e predispostos a explorar conceitos relacionados à transferência de calor com a utilização de atividades de robótica; d) as análises de cada atividade, assim como os questionamentos e as discussões durante cada etapa entre aluno e aluno e aluno e pesquisador apontaram que o uso da robótica em sala de aula pode ser um recurso tecnológico para auxiliar na exploração de conceitos relacionados à transferência de calor.
This dissertation addresses the use of Robotics activities as technology resource for the exploration of concepts related to heat transfer in high school. The problem that served the survey was: what are the implications of using Robotics activities in exploration of concepts related to the transfer of heat in a second grade class from high school to a private school? The study was conducted in a private school in the municipality of Vilhena, Rondônia, having, as participants, twenty-three students in the second grade of high school. The specific objectives proposed in the research aimed to explore physics concepts related to heat transfer in practice making use of Robotics activities; develop a pedagogical practice, making the use of Robotics activities with students in the second grade of high school involving concepts related to heat transfer and analyze how the activities developed during the teaching practice can contribute to the understanding of concepts related to heat transfer. The research is qualitative in nature. Survey data were used to a structured questionnaire, questions during educational intervention, observations made in a field journal, and finally, photos and footage. The data analyzed showed that: a) the students showed, the structured questionnaire, before educational intervention the difficulty to differentiate heat and temperature, because many students reported that both concepts were synonymous; b) the material used during the pedagogical practice developed with students contributed to exploration and enrichment of the concepts related to heat transfer as the perception of the difference between the three ways that heat can be transferred, as well as your relationship with the everyday; c) students in the proposal, were eager and predisposed to explore concepts related to the transfer of heat through the use of Robotics activities; d) analyses of each activity, as well as the questions and discussions during each step between student and student and student and researcher pointed out that the use of Robotics in the classroom can be a technological resource to assist in the exploration of concepts related to heat transfer.
