The Graduate Program in Environment and Development (PPGAD), in the Environmental Sciences area, aims to promote an integrated view of the environmental issue, in its historical, economic, social and ecological perspectives, through the development and application of technologies and methodologies aimed at solving problems related to the environmental area.
To join the Program, you need to register online and go through the admission process. Check the selection schedule:
- Publication of the call for applications: July/August of each year;
- Candidate registration: from August to October of each year;
- Selection of candidates: October and November of each year;
- Beginning of classes: Intensive regime in January and July of each year and regular regime from March to July and from August to December of each year.
In the regular regime, classes take place from March to June and from August to December, Fridays from 7 pm to 10 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm. In the intensive regime, classes take place in the months of January and July, Monday to Friday, in the mornings, from 9 am to 12 pm, and afternoons from 2 pm to 5 pm.
In both cases there may be courses with fieldwork from one to three days in duration, which will be scheduled according to the availability of the professors.
